The book “Outline of Crystallography for Biologists” by D.M. Blow (2002) is “intended for researchers and students in the biological sciences who require an insight into the methods of X-ray crystallography without needing to learn all the relevant theory.” It was a honour to have known Professor Blow during my time at Imperial College. He requested the formulation of a front cover for his book, after seeing the images subsequently used within the paper below.
